Neighborhood Revitalization by the Example of the Akadeemia Tee Panel Buildings Quarter

The Master's thesis explores ways to improve living conditions in aging panel housing areas, with a focus on the revitalization of the Akadeemia tee quarter in Tallinn through various architectural interventions. The author has developed a comprehensive catalog of renovation solutions. Additionally, the thesis proposes the creation of new common areas and outdoor spaces to encourage social interaction and foster a stronger sense of community. This research offers a practical framework for enhancing the livability and sustainability of panel housing neighborhoods, contributing to a more vibrant and dynamic urban environment.
